"Sadness never sounded so poignantly beautiful as on
tracks like ‘Cowboy Song’, ‘Woodland Whispers’, and
the heartbreaking ‘Would You Love Me’. I hear a definite
Neil Young influence in Allen’s plaintive voice which suits
the material to a T. Check out the tortured ‘Lost In The
Leaves’ which sports some nice fuzzy guitar. There’s not a bad song in the bunch. I suspect the final track, ‘Goodnight’ was inspired by The Beatles White album."
